Actually it's okay that the batter stayed in the box, that's where she's supposed to be. It's the catcher that has to throw around the batter.

yeah you have to move out of the batters box, i have been playing ball since i was about 4 and now i am 14, i am very experienced and i have moved up to varsity level. scotthill22 is right.

Hello people the ball is still in play when it hit her helmet!
scotthill22 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Bahaha, your right.
I'm a dumbass....do you know of any softball catcher that has the transition time of a second or less? Especially towards 3rd?
Yeah, I play baseball, yeah I coach.
Yeah I'm gonna play in college.
And I coach 16-18 yr olds.
Dont believe me, PM me and I'll prove it.
So stop trying to act like you know everything about a subject you obviously know nothing about.
Ask any baseball or softball player...you step out of the box.
I said once, I say it again.

Are you an idiot? Ever played or coached the game? The reaction time for her to move out would have to be less then 1 second after the ball has crossed the plate, and the catcher throwing down to 3rd, therefore making nearly impossible to get out of the way. Stupid Ass!!!
scotthill22 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
The batter doesnt know where to move?
How about out of the box?

The batter should of moved out of the way instead of standing there like an idiot. If someone was stealing third then the catcher was suppose to throw the ball. |
